Their song “Bara Bada Bastu” (which translates to “Let’s Just Sauna”) is a catchy ode to the joy of Finnish sauna bathing. The choreography is cheerful and invites dancing. With the song, KAJ has already reached number one on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 list and garnered over two million video streams in the first few days.
About the Band #
The band was founded in 2009 when the members, Kevin Holmström, Axel Ã…hman, and Jakob NorrgÃ¥rd, were still in their teenage years. The band name is formed from their initials, similar to the famous Swedish band ABBA. ABBA member Björn Ulvaeus congratulated KAJ on their victory at the Swedish preliminary contest by posting a video from his own sauna, praising them for their “super-catchy earworm.”
